I used rubbing compound before on my 05 RR and it got a little pink on the pad so I stopped using it...However I really am not very happy with the paint quality in general...Rock chips on the hood are too common and even with my wash, clay bar, polish, and wax it still left a bit to be desired...I need to pick up some of that stuff he was using on autogeek
Heres some pics....https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=233538
My car was actually dirty that day.

I was trying to get some surface scratches out of the paint...I switched over and now use scratch-x for anything like that

This posting is bumming me out because I have Rally Red. It does clear up a lot though about the ease of rock chips I get on my hood. And no, I don't take it racing. Stupid Mitsu paint jobs.
