1. The evo (us spec) can not pull over .92 lateral G stock. Whoever said .95 to .96 got their specs from a jpn or uk car.
2. The integra type r does not pull .89 g's stock, it pulls .92, same as the s2k. 98-2001 ITR stock.

FYI, in every mag I've seen a US-spec. EVO tested, it always pulls .94-.96. Gs.

Drop a Stage 1 setup and tune on the IX and it will hang with cars that cost 5 times as much.

3. the lotus elise is about dead even on the highway with a stock evo ix
4. it doesnt take 20k to make an s2k fast. I have many friends with 300-700whp s2k's. Turbo'd. My friend Giles, made 550whp on his stock s2k block. Daily drives it at 390whp on 93. No internals, just cams and a turbo and bolt ons.
5. this thread needs to end, too many people stating too many opinions and making too many incorrect statements.
ANY car can be fast if the money is there, who cares whether it's a 4 door family rally car or a 2 door pure all out race car that is doing it. All that matters is whether YOU enjoy the car.
everyone wants different stuff, i personally dream of these:
NSX-R
ferrari 360 stradale challenge
mclaren f1 LM
have a nice day

NSX-R still tore it up and looked like it would have won eventually......

Unless the internals are changed and the deck possibly sleeved, I cant imagine going flat out on a real track in a turbo'd Sk2 for more than a few laps.
Again, please correct me if wrong.
i would bet my life if you let a evo ix upgrade the tires, suspension, and what not maybe drop 4-5 grand it would kill a lotus in every catagory! I think the only thing going for the lotus is the looks it does look nice but like people say its not practical at all go get grocerys with it then tell me...

different video...i guess...cause the Evo MR would have won if there was one or two more laps...every lap it put down faster lap times then everybody else and was closing the gab on the STi
