Dude, lay off. He made a mod and said he feels an improvement from it. It's not unbelievable that there would be an improvement and no one else has done it to say that there is no improvement, yet you start with the assumption that he's BSing... If you don't want to do it, then don't, or wait for other positive opinions if you're just not convinced. But don't discredit him for not having concrete proof that he feels better handling - there's not exactly a way to prove that.

Wait a minute - He (Al) claims this change dramatically improves handling, but I have to prove it doesn't? If he simply posted "I moved my battery to the trunk", threw some pics in, and gave a how-to/parts list, that'd be cool as hell. That's what car forums are for - sharing of knowledge and ideas. But when someone makes a change and claims an improvement in some aspect of handling, I expect something more than "I think it's better". I've seen too many posts just like Al's, and I know most of them are total BS. Al is on to something, I'd just like to see an objective measure of it if he's going to make a claim of dramatic improvement.

My last project was a 412 wheel HP WRX that had a stock 2.0 STI engine - which to my understanding is still a US record for the most non nos power out of a 2.0 L WRX engine - also my WRX is still listed on http://mywebpages.comcast.net/thomasck/Registry.html

as the 5th fastest WRX in the US - ever ( and my car was a daily driver on street tires)

So when I am telling you all that something works on my new EVO and that its an improvement - take it as comming from someone who has experience with major car modifications and who has a pruven track record in amature motorsports

If you don't believe me then thats cool but I ONLY report things I feel and observe - I have no profit motivation and no parts to hawk
