CO2 Fogger system? Anyone ever seen this.

A few of my friends were thinking about this.. What if you were to rig up a co2 fogger system to spray in the path of the car you were racing. Obviously if you spray c02 in the path of the other car it will rob it of mucho power.

I know this is dirty and some people would get super pissed. But has anyone ever seen this done or herd of it?

Yes, have heard and seen it. Most of the time the purge was setup to do that. Not sure how well it worked however, the cars they ran were all slower anyway...

Because C02 doesn't ignite with gasoline.

You'd have to spray enough (large amount) to make sure enough got into the intake. Of course, you'd be opening yourself up to a punch in the face after the race. Just spend the money on making your own car faster, instead of making other cars slower

Some people actually use "Cryo" systems that use C02 to spray on the IC to cool it down. If any gets in your intake, you're F'd.

CO2 robs your engine of O2, causing serious power loss.

yeah I knew of people using the cryo systems to spray their IC and cool their intake charge with a semi like a/c system. I didn't know someone made a co2 spray system thats funny. But yeah i knew the contact path of the other car would be hard to hit. And its not practical just something to think about. Maybe i can talk my local shop into rolling a pos on the dyno hookin up a c02 tank and paintball remote system and spraying it into the fan lol seee if it has any effect
