EVO driven recklessly while supposedly getting an oil change at Walpole Mitsu in MA

I took my car in for service at Walpole Mitsubishi in MA for an oil change and maybe get my rotors fixed because they are vibrating. I leave the dealership with my girlfriend in her car and minutes later we are driving and my evo flies by right in front of us. We follwed my evo a few miles and the guy driving it was beating on it going full throttle in ever gear! Finally he turns around at a light and heads back towards the dealership, (after rolling down windows and yelling at some truck driver). He starts tailgating people and eventually pulls into the service lot.
My gf and I jump out of her car and go into the service department and basically explain everything that happened. The service manager just keeps saying "yes I understand" and "ok, ok calm down." Then he tells me he will talk to the tech. He comes back and says the tech was driving it to "test the brakes." I told him I have photos on my camera phone of the tech driving it and the manager just shrugs it off. At this point I am really angry and ask for my car back and the service manager says "well it's up on the lift now you'll have to wait."
Finally after waiting another 15 minutes I get the car back with the oil supposedly changed free of charge. The whole thing was terrible and I am not sure if I can really do much about other than not go there anymore even though it is by far the closest Mitsu service center to me. Any thoughts, advice similar experiences???

Call the owner of the dealership and Mitsu USA.

They'll probably void your warranty next.

Thats like a kick in the *****. I never go to the dealership or any old shop for that reason. I just cant trust them with a car like the Evo. My buddy w/ an SRT 4 had a salesman blow up his tranny when he was in for service at Dodge. Next time just try to do it yourself or find a place that you know who is working on your car.

There is no way I would've kept my cool. The second I saw hime driving stupid in my car, I would've tailed hime the WHOLE way back to the service dept and handled him in the lot. Good luck man, that sux.

dont know if there is much you can do besides talk to the owner or general manager. test runs are one thing, but ragging on your car is another. it probably caused no harm, but the fact you saw it did. wait until you get a photo radar ticket in the mail.

several years back i stopped by a local bmw shop to pick up my E36 325i from an oil change and brake job and it wasnt there, i was kinda weirded out. 15 minutes later the owner shows up with his kid that he picked up, said he was just test driving which i understand. running errands though....WTF...its the principle behind it. needless to say i do all the maintenance i can handle myself.

Agreed, I never would have gone back inside, just taken my keys from the tech and left, and god help him if he mouths off.

Call the cops and report the drive, then call the better buisness bureau. Then on your off time picket them outside thier buisness.

I went to the dealer yesterday for an oil change under my warranty service and they rotated my wheels without saying anything to me and i had to ask why they did that and they said its part of the maintenance thing. I do all that myself and i didnt want them doing that but i just shrugged it off. I pull out after everything is done and ten miles down the road i hear a weird noise and thought one of my tires was flat. I checked them all and they were fine so i checked my lugs. Every single one was loose!!! only finger tight. I was on the side of the busy road almost getting hit by cars tightening every lug. At the same time i was on the phone calling the dealer service department and cussing them out . Then driving back so i could cuss them more. Never go to Winner Mitsubishi and Dover DElaware. TErrible customer service. Most service departments are terrible and there is nothing to do but not go there again.

Yeah, mechanics do that kind of things all the time. Especially, if they have a nice sports car? they waste no time in testing it out... but that's just careless of them. what if he would have rear ended one of those cars he was tailgating? bummmer.
