Evo 9 w/ Carbon Fiber Hood.

I'm looking into getting a Seibon OEM Style CF Hood for my evo. But on the 9s, the sprayer tank is located in the trunk, so the wiper sprayers are routed differently. Are there those little clips on the underside of the hood to guide the hose on? If not how do you guys route the sprayer hoses? Secondly, are the wiper sprayers hard to remove?

On all USM Evos the windshield washer reservoir tank is mounted in the truck. You should have no problem with the washer tubing routing...I'd be more concerned with the fact that the VIIIs have a pointed hood and the IXs are flat at the front...

I apologize then, I guess i was thinking of the Evo 7's hood which is not pointed at the front. So, If you have an VIII how did you not know that the windshield fluid is in the back?

I only have a 9. I had an 8 back in 03. I was thinking of the front intercooler sprayer resevoir on the 8s. That little black thing to the right, I thought that was the sprayer.

All windshield sprayers are in the trunk VIII and IX. 03-04 had the IC sprayer under the hood. Evo VIII and IX hoods are totally interchangeable. FYI

So are the sprayer nozzles easy to clip off?

I know for a fact they have the wiper holes all ready. I was asking though, is it easy to remove the STOCK nozzles.

It weighs nearly the same, however, carbon distributes the weight more evenly.

The hood does have holes but they are NOT punched out for you. My buddy had to punch his out they just outline the cut.

Some cf hoods might weigh more than OEM. Make sure it's lighter before you buy.

Do you know if it was difficult or did he just push them out easily? Secondly, when he installed it was it easy to remove the stock hoods sprayer nozzles?
