Why

Why is my boost Gauge reading at 1.5 bar when i haven't even raise the boost yet. I'm planning to get an MBC and raise my boost but others here on the Forums says they are already this level of boost on their gauge after they have install their MBC and raised their boost. I haven't gotten a chance to add my MBC yet but it's currently reading 1.5 bar at full throttle is this correct. Keep in mine i have already got an Ecuteck Flash with my orginal mods TBE, intake, Bov ,and Ecuteck FLash.

Your gauge is off by about two PSI, or your car is over boosting from the factory, take your pick.

could be spiking because of the intake and exhaust also. the factory boost solenoid may not be able to keep up with the change in airflow characteristics

thats what I was going to say next, whenever you mod your car you should readjust your boost, get a MBC asap, then you can control it well.

or you might want to leave it stock so you don't mess up the warranty.
