My car is leaking like crazy right now. Only when it rains and the area directly under the passenger seat becomes a swimming pool. Even with a towel, I found a half inch of water under the seat alone. And that wasn't even with the car moving, just from rain alone. Any suggestions on what is causing this? Also, anyone know of a good dealer in NM/TX?

Happened to me and the whole drivers side all the way to the driver rear passenger was soaked under the carpet. Took it to Mitsubishi to figure it out. Apparently some gromet was loose and water kept comming in. They fixed it under warranty and its been good since.

If I would have seen this thread I wouldn't have started mine....anyhow, I had the passenger side turn into a lake also after driving to work in the rain...the dealer thinks it's the a/c unit that's clogged....i'm still working this one though....

I got mine fixed today! ...hopefully. Basically the grommet for the gauge cluster in the firewall was not making a seal. Somewhere along the line like the stealership I bought from, never put that on right and my car had become a swimming pool ever since.
