All I have is a custom road tune by Al on my 2005 (and no other mods). I've never dyno'd my car before so I can't tell you how much power I have at the wheels. I was told that the tune was good for about 30 WHP. All I know is that there is quite a difference.

FYI - "flashed" and "tuned" are the same thing.

Dynoflash guarantees 20whp from a flash alone on a stock evo...

The comparison above with the guy from the Turbotrix tune - His base numbers were from a mustang dyno, which reads lower than other dynos. His "After" numbers were from a dynojet dyno...if he got tuned at the turbotrix facility

if thats true, this is an apples to oranges comparison when it comes to whp numbers...so don't be fooled that he picked up 50WHP on a tune alone.

and if this was the same dyno he baselined on, my apologies and disregard what i said above.

Evo IX MR Stock With Flash( Al)

I noticed a decent gain..Nothing mind blowing but decent.

Again absolutely no supporting mods, just a flash on a stock car.

it was tuned and dynoed on the same dyno it was baselined on. mark ran the baseline, tuned it, ran a few more, and before we took it off the dyno it made 50whp more.

Good topic. I'm very curious about this as well. I'm debating a reflash on my mostly stock '04. I've been holding off until I can get a TBE, but that might be a while since I just bought a new house.

I had an mbc installed and the car tuned and am putting down 270awhp/290awtq on a mustang dyno. If you have a IX you should at least get an mbc installed to bring the car to stock boost or beyond. Mine is running safely at 22psi now whereas stock it was at about 14 or so.
