Well a couple private guys from Midland with person money did really well!!
Jarrod Hoops Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution RS (06) Auto X 59.019 2nd place took 3rd over all. This was the first time out for this car not to bad. It was also running on pump gas.

David Bruzewski Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII (AWD) 11.06 2nd in Drag 5th over all. This car ran for the first time on race gas this weekend.

Way to go guys with performance like this you would think they were shop cars.

Thanks for the props Doug! We had a great time and are very happy with the results considering the circumstances! For the black car this was the very first time autocrossing with a brand new build, and only his 2nd time ever launching an AWD car at the dragstrip.
For the red car, it is brand new. As of 48 hours before the event it was still being built. 24 hours before the event it didn't even run!! If it wasn't for Jester Tuning coming through at the last minute to get us a base map so we could at least run pump gas, we would not have even been there. Yep, 3rd overall on a 93 octane base map, baby!!! And that is including stock boost!!
Tuned on race gas I would have been fast enough in the drags (sub 11.9) to get enough points to take 1st overall, but "woulda, coulda, shoulda" don't count for anything!!
We'll be ready next time! Those shop cars better watch out!!
Thanks again to Jestr Tuning for getting me an email reflash that really kicked a$$!!!

All I can say about this event is that I had an absolute blast. Great stories, great times, great people and most importantly a great cause!
I wasn't well prepared for it though. I had not yet drove the car in an Autocross with the new setup. Was using $1200 N1 coilovers at stock ride height. Tires I used were the same ones I started with at WW2 last year and drove all of 2006 on. My Focus probably has more negative camber than my EVO. I never put one completely clean run together. Yadda...yadda...yadda...and still managed to run a 57.7.
With an agressive autocross camber, additional suspension parts, no driver mistakes, and some 285 tires that were not heat cycled for a year, I am sure the car would have went well into the 56's or better. Need to find a tire sponsor and an enclosed trailer and I will slam her to the ground with some real camber and hopefully get it to hook up.
Without the car show, (performance challenges only) I would have taken first by 2 points over Trent in David's car and 8 points ahead of third. I guess I should clean my car more instead of driving it but it is just too damn addictive and E85 is soooo cheap
Here is one of two videos that we are releasing. This one is all outside the car footage. The next one that I am working on is mostly from inside.

Thank you especially to David, Jarrod, and Daniel from Bushcur Racing for a bulletproof setup. Also thanks to Exedy for a clutch that just keeps going, and going, and going...

Nice pics everyone!! I see a couple of my Road///Race Motorsports White Ralliart in there.
I covered my class F in the autox by 1.3 seconds with a 1:04.722 (still feel I left a couple of seconds out there), and all of class E except for Bill Brees in his NASA TTE prepped (and 2006 National Champ) Mazda Protege. I won class F overall and ended up scoring the most points for the day. Post up some pics of your hardware guys....here is mine:

Thanks everyone for the kind words about how smoothly it ran. We all worked our butts off to make it go as smooth as possible.
It was very nice to see and meet everyone out there, and I teched most of the cars in on Friday (including most of your Evo's
). Sitting in that Noble was like sitting in a go cart.
I have to say that it seems like everyone is jealous because most of the good drivers were in Evo's and Mitsu's that day.

Here are the Evom boys on the autox.
That "bend-over" chick was our trophy girl.
