Th clutch doesnt take any special tricks or feathering? You drive it like any other 5-speed which obviously you never have ...... but congrats on mommy and daddy buying you such a nice car for your first car. Now please just get it over with and post I wrapped my new evo around a tree thread because its inevitable for you....

Where the hell did you come up with this complete fabrication? I test drove a GSR IX for over 40 minutes before I bought my SE. Test drives are completely dependant on the dealer. Some are leniant (I had no salesman with me, just my wife), and some won't even let you sit in the car.

I do find it unlikely that they would give a test drive on an Evo to a 17 year old, and even more so that the salesman didn't end the demo when you showed that you can't drive for ****.

For the OP: Get the Prius. You are a bad driver, and you will probably kill yourself or someone else.

no guys i have half of the money and my parents said they would finance the rest for me and i would make the payments..i get about 800 a month and will pay the payments myself. the 335 is not needed because they need a car for just weddings and such they are getting a 07 prius and have a 03 ram for thier daily drivers. me i said i stalled it because im not ganna be a badass and say i didnt i never drivin a stick before that often the first time i drove sticl (oz-rally) i didnt stall it at all. they salesman encouraged me to floor it i was doing 3k shifts before that and downing at 2k and i didnt expect to floor it and i was in 4th gear doing 40ish and he told me that i should be in 2nd i told him i didnt want to beat on the car and waste their gas...and yes i signed a wiver at the dealership that i will take that exact evo if we agree upon a sale...silver is starting to grow on me and i know who drove the miles on the car as opposed to the gg evo that has 20 miles having no clue what happened to the car..i really do respect the car but the salesman was the one that took me to a open road and told me to rip it. i did it 2 times shifting at 6.5k not just casually shifting not slaming on the gearbox at all and holding the clutch down i told you this all out of truth and not to lie to you guys that i didnt stall it all and went 120...i only floored it through 1st and 2nd to get a feel for the turbo and how hard it kicks in...i found it to be real tourqey and smooth and the ride is incredible for a sports car... cant imagine how smooth the mr is compared to this....but sorry for beating on a car that i probably will buy and they are broken in factory too also so its not like i floored it from the dealer lot i he waited for the engine to warm up too. and it was like 15-20 mins sorry i exaggerated...

I agree with everyone else. An Evo shouldnt be your first car. Not an easy or cheap car to maintain. When I was researching on mine, I think edmunds had a 5 year cost of ownership and it ended up being around 30k.

I would buy a regular car, after college get yourself a new Evo. It would be more practical, it would be much much cheaper to maintain, easy on the pockets when you're in college.

evoIXmr... I think you need to learn how to type correctly and have proper grammer.

My eyes hurt after trying to read your post.
Learn how to use paragraphs and sentences.

I am done reading this thread.
What a waste of time.

Why not invest the money you would spend on the car into an education?
