You are correct. I think an EVO needs, performance, looks, and sound to be complete. Ok the hks rs intake sucks is overprice, and does not filter good, I will get some other intake. I'm sorry but I need to satisfy my inner ricer .
At least I'm not getting shinny rims and a huge wing.
You're going to get a huge wing either way, and whos to say you're not going to get bling bling rims?

But hey, it's your $

Do whatever you want with it--I still dont know why people have to ask others about what to do with their own $...

Get a Honda.

You dont need an intake, esp. not as a first mod.

Well, ya - it already comes with a huge wing.
Yeah a huge wing but a nice wing.

Hey my Toyota Paseo weighs 1800 lbs and has 120 HP. Even with falken 512s 175/14/65 it rival's the Evo's lateral G's. I'm also about to hook it up with some spinners and neons!

Don't make fun of me i'm not ricer "may be a little "
But you have and hks suction intake and a hks BOV. Don't tell me that the stock air box is not good enough (remenber is good for 400hp ) and that your are pushing so much boost that you had to change you stock BOV because it was leaking. You know why you got the HKS BOV and intake don't lie .

I just did a quick search myself and found your aswner. 90% of former 04-06 STi owners are now IX owners for the reason the Evo felt better as a car, handle better, seats are better and the turbo kicks harder. Than the fact the car makes more power for cheaper. If I could find that, you could of too... dont be lazy during a search. Also, this is evo gen, 99% of the answer here are gonna say get the evo, so what's the point, moral support? Post count? Making your newbie name known? Now, when it comes down to it, you make the finally descion, not evoM or nasioc. You know what both cars can do in stock form and what they are capable of in modded form. Drive both cars (if you havent already) and than decide.

Do a search again.

+1 I own both cars and I have personally given my impressions countless times. You really need to search.

Actually those mods were already on my car when I purchased it. But the intake definitely increases power over the stock plastic air box (I recommend using heat shielding to cool metal intakes). I'm not making fun of anyone! I'm actually putting spinners and neons on my Toyota because I think its funny as hell. =)
