Not true I wash and waxed my spoiler every 2-3 weeks and used RainX UV protectant wax on the wing everytime and still my clear coat is dead and I am waiting on my new wing. Maybe you got lucky with yours. But I know myself and others who got some of the very 1st Evo's to come here have all had the same problem.

Well, the Tracy heat wave killed it. It was a 110 outside and nothing but sun last summer. I'm real picky about keeping her clean and wax every 4 to 6 months, especially in the summer time to proctect from the blistering sun. I really don't know what happened? When the clear coat started to go, it was a small spot, then it turned really cloudy, and then the flaking/peeling started. After that heat wave my spoiler was pretty much toast.

Why not? As long as it's on a flatbed.
