Exhaust

Hey everyone, Im in a little bit of a situation. I want to put an aftermarket exhaust on my 03 VIII and I was wondering if anyone had anything that would help me with this. I've narrowed it down to a couple choices: Apexi GT Spec, Skunk2 Mega Power, Invidia Stainless, and HKS Hi-Power. Any info/opinions would help. Thanks

i have the hks hi power... its a low deep tone sounding exhaust, the fitment is wonderful aside from it doesnt stick out the back enough to keep from exhaust crap to get on your bumper... i've also had the RMR catback which you dont have listed... it was pretty light, the sound was great, and it did stick out enough

Basically they all do the same thing. Go with whatever you want to pay and with whomever you have company loyalty to.

I know you didn't say this was one of your choices but I would suggest looking into the Tanabe Concept G Blue. It is a full TBE and there are some vendors on here selling them for a very nice price shipped.

See my sig for a sound clip of it sitting still.

Does anyone have any sound clips for either the Apexi GT Spec or the Skunk2?

i got the skunk2 mega power on my car right now. its really deep and not loud. fitment is great and the tip comes out past the bumper a little. so you dont have to worry to much about burning your bumper too much if youre catless

i also had the gt spec on my suby a year ago now that **** was loud!@!!
