Blew my engine
I think I will take it to AMS i have to talk to eric, but i will talk to my shop too. I don't think it was the tuner. I just don't know what to think. I plan on getting all my stuff from AMS though, so it might be worth my time to bring it there!

If it was tuned with Meth are you sure the pump didnt fail when you ran it? Or wasn't turned on if its a set up with a switch?
the meth was spraying, it goes on by boost.. I seriously think it was just my engine, and i hope it was not the tune.. But I think I will bring it to ams.. Anyone know how much it would cost to get someone to tow it there from MN?

Standalones such as AEM retards timing and gives fuel so it causes explosions in the exhaust manifod and that makes the back housing spin (builds boost to where ever you set it at PSI and the waste gate opens to relieve pressure as if you were driving) But it retards timing so there isnt much stress on the engine.
On the stock ecu it does not retard timing and if you hold it to long KABOOM rod in my oil pan.
Mine was my own fault however i did not know of the timing retardation thing until it was too late or i would have never used it with the stock ecu.

Do you have any pics of pistons, rods, spark plugs etc, may help diagnosis the problem?

However, yes i staged before the other car cause i wanted to make sure i would be able to build boost. (Peaks and holds at 9 psi on the E-01). I held it too long and i am pretty sure i blew it then cause it wasn't like a regular bog when the clutch isnt slipped correctly it acually felt like the car died for 3 sec or so. When it picked up i just drove off, not really driving it hard since i already lost but when i got into 4th. POOF. White smoke everywhere and the car shut off and wouldn't start up again. I let it roll to the end f the run off and looked under the car and all the oil was draining out. Pull the DIP STICK and white smoke came flowing out, even worse when i removed the oil cap.
Detonation can cause increased pressure on the rods and damage the rod bearings, but there have also been a number of circumstances in which stock rod bolts failed with the same result as you describe. At this point, with the information you've given, no way to tell what exactly was the cause. You can determine more about what the direct cause of the damage was when the motor is taken apart, but it may still not confirm any one exclusive root cause. Upgraded rod bolts are a good idea for almost any motor that is not left stock...
I am at a loss to understand how you are not thinking this is the shop's fault.
Let's see:
* You put a crapload of money into them with a bunch of parts
* They did the set-up, tuning, and install, right?
* You just barely drove it off and boom, right? How far away from the shop were you? How long did you drive it before getting on it?
* Did the tuner do a street tune at all or just pure dyno?
I personally don't see how it's anyone but the shop's fault - especially if it happened at low RPMs.
