Find the relay for the fog lights.
Take the spade that is used to power the relay.
Send that to a fuse instead of where it is currently being connected.
The fuse will dictate when the fogs can be turned on or off.

You will need a front ecu for a jdm evo. all the lights are ecu controlled from a seperate ecu in the engine bay, under the fuse box. seriously. i've tried everything to try and trick the computer, but will need a detailed wiring diagram to succeed.
I Beleive the Fog lights, along with Pretty much all the other accessories on your car, are controled by the ETACS ECU. Thats why when you turn the car off your fogs don't have memory and soo next time you turn you lights on the fogs are off, annoys the crap out of me. What you can do is elliminate the ETACS and get a Relay and some wire, along with quite a bit of elbow grease. No The button for your fogs is just a return type, not a stick. (in other words its not a switch its a conventional button) Making it, ironicly, verry unconventional in this case. So unless you find a Relay or some sort of computerized module to control the fogs your gonna have to get a switch. (I guees your starting to see why no one has made their fogs work like this yet) Don't forget to connect the wire to goes to the dash to illuminate the Fog indicator lamp to some source so when your turn the fog lights turn on soo does the lamp. After that its pretty much done. Cons to this are Obvious, Alot of work, Warranty will be long gone (probaly already is), and if you push the switch at any time the lights will turn on (even if the vehicle is turned off).
