My comment was all-inclusive, "...wing off a GT3, the duckbill off a '75 Carrera, or any factory-installed whale tail..."
I'm saying it's different if you remove the distinctive "Turbo" model spoiler from a 996 because it'll look like a Carrera which is a lesser model. Take the wing off of a EVO IX GSR it may look like an RS but they have the same power plant.

Even in your post you noted specific models. You didn't just say Porsche 911.
