Have you noticed how some of the most ardent wing supporters are high school kids who don't own Evos? I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I laugh. It's a matter of taste though and I am OK with that. I just can't understand how a business proffesional would ever drive a car with a wing. I would be laughed out of the office.

I don't care what the world thinks, but around here (10 cops per every square mile), you have to care what the cops think unless you want to drive like grandma 24/7. I'm about to replace mine with the lower wing and it would not bother me to have no wing and no badging. Will also be dithincg the tail lights eventually and if I could get nice alum wheels that look like crappy steelies, I'd do that also . I'd rather drive fast, than look fast.........

Yeah the wings too hotboy. After being pulled over 14 times in a year and half and only getting 1 moving violation, yeah the ***** has to come off.

These cars were made with the wings for a reason. You might think that it is a very minor difference, but every minor difference makes and brakes you in racing.

As far as being pulled over, I highly doubt that a wing makes that much of a difference.

Besides I like pulling up to somebody thinking I have an ugly car. **ck them what do they know and why do I care what they think! And when I smoke them, I am the one that is laughing.

I have also noticed the rear wings on my STI and Evo both block out headlamps of other vehicles.

These are just MO and I am not in high school.

actually did make the RS, which has no wing and is the fastest EVO in stock form, that should tell you something right there.

unless you are actually going to ralley the car I seriously doubt losing the wing will have any effect on driving.

that logic doesn't hold up. The RS is the fastest only in acceleration. And it is so because it is the lightest. It is also the cheapest - most likely the reason the wing was not standard.

i've had my wing off for about a year and love it. an evo can never be "under the radar" but i've noticed a big diffrence with no more second looks from cops. and the best part is no more revs from retards. the people that can recognize an evo without a wing are the same ones that would'nt want to race on the streets.

I personally like the wingless look. The downfall to the wings is their cop-magnets. Stayin' under the radar is where its at...
