Remember man I would also go them for the amount of money you would loose on your car now due to a accident. The depreciation loss is something I would bring up.

That is complete bullsh*t. I would be so angry. If I were you I would get a lawyer and demand that they replace the car. You can use the defense that your car will lose significant value due to the fact that it will have had body work done on it and the title will no longer be clear. I think that is a strong enough argument, but then again I'm not a judge. It is obvious that the valet guy was recklessly driving and should suffer the consequences of his actions. Good luck, hope everything works out all right.

I can't even imagine how angry I would be. Hope everything works out, and you get some good money out of them. Good luck man.

I have a question, since the car was moved did the police give the valet a ticket for leaving the proximity (scene) of the accident? Was it close to the lot or somewhere else? Sorry to hear this happened to you. Give them h*ll.
+1 ... not realstic at all to ask for a replacement, but I certainly would. A fixed car, still just isn't the same

What? How are they doing the "right thing?" Lets see, they take his car and it appears drive it recklessly (which I would have had the police ticket him with and he still may be able to do...) and then put the side of it into a tree. He pays his own hard earned money for the car and some car jockey smashes it up when he is supposed to be a professional that is protecting his car by parking it and keeping it secure. I think they have a long way to go to do the right thing. He needs to be fully compensated, especially facing the likelyhood that the car is now further depreciated due to the damage they did to his car. I say get a lawyer and get properly compensated. Just my .02.

Like some said before try for a replacement. The frame might be bent=totalled. If not sue for loss of value, loss of use, pain and suffering (stressing about your previously pristine ride), bottom line get advise from a Lawyer this way you can get the maximum from these axxholes.
I feel for you man......good luck.

I would have been in jail.

That is messed up. Good luck and get a lawyer.

This is the exact reason I won't do valet in my Evo.
