yea the pictures arent that bad honestly. but then you got to consider that the clutch is gone, then the transmission needs to be checked out and the differentials too since he drove away from the accident, ect. so yea the pics arent that bad but there is more too it. luckily the frame isnt bent

The guy said early on that he was reluctant to post pictures because they would downplay the damage. Guess he was right. Here's the peanut gallery questioning things!

Wow that looks like a$$! Sorry to hear that had to happen. On another note, not all valets are bad drivers, there is a guy on here (my best friend) that is a valet and he is a damn good driver and not a idiot...but in general I agree w/all the previous statements

I would be in jail cause no doubt i would have dropped that idiot that drove my car. I have no self control when it comes to other people causing accidents by the joyriding a car they cant afford . 10 dollar a hr ***

Okay here's my .02 worth of advice that may be a little too late to fully exploit (It being the holiday season w/ all those starving families). Have you considered going to the media? Newspapers, TV stations, teenage girls with flyers! If you want a NEW car, you are going to have to raise such a stink about how reckless these "proffesional parkers" are and put a good ol' fashioned CRUNCH! on their wallets. You want a NEW IX? Make up a bunch of flyers and hand them out in the general vacinity of the garage or every mall, restaraunt, and gas station that will let you (check with local law enforcement about soliciting permits if needed). Make sure that everyone that goes to Old town for a 2 week period (at least) knows about THAT garage, the people HE employs, and the "SAFEguards" in place to keep YOUR car safe from vandals.

Oh and YES the guy stole your car and the manager is guilty of criminal negligence in my opinion. He provided virtually NO safeguards to keeping your property safe and secure. Regarless of "it being a known fact that valets do it", it is a business managers JOB to make sure that HIS valets DO NOT! On a side note, make a case for a new FULL drivetrain since he was obviously abusing it and voided your warrany

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the either or option to get the IX... Hand out the flyers in front of/around the Garage for a day, then see if he's willing to give up a IX. IF not then see above about the 2 month.. ooops! I meant weeks of flyers. Thousands of flyers will cost you less than the depreciated value of your now Carfaxed automobile But this is only an opinion of how to possibly get something done. Good luck no matter what you end up doing

The damage doesn't look bad at all. A good collision shop could probably make it look and drive like brand new again.

dude im a valet, and i think thats reallllllly ****ed up no matter how much a car costs, you should have the self-control to just park it and leave it, we have e55 amgs, sl55 sl65, caymans, and 911s come in and we just park them, without incident, also, please dont think all valets are *******s out to **** up cars, were not all bad.

In all honesty all these people on this thread saying make them pay for a new car, they stole your car. The valet driver did not steal the car, in anyway or form reckless yes. Getting them to pay for a new car good luck, I think you can protest and hand out flyers all you want but I really doubt they will get you a new car. Sorry to hear about your car though.

A new door will not feel the same in the car... I had my window broken and every since I replaced it... It never felt the same... You might as well get some $ out of this and get some new mods and stuff... Maybe new fenders and rims and bumpers ... Good Luck Though

well i didnt go through every page again, just after the pictures. 1st? do you have 2 diff tires on the car? it appears that way in the pics. anything over 2k in repairs you have to disclose and that is going to very badly hurt resale on the car. you must must must get an estimated depreciation from THEIR insurance, after they fix EVERYTHING. again..whats up with the tires?

I'm a valet, and yeah, that's way over the top. The MOST i'd ever do with a fancy car is to accelerate vigorously for 2 sec.... I've parked some nice cars, too, Lambo, Bentley, Ferrari, tons of Porsches, Maserati, and others. I'd park a Ferrari with a valet sooner than my Evo, because its a cheaper, less-respected car (and a valet's mind an easier car to drive), so they'd feel better driving that around. Yeah, don't valet your Evo - IMO, it's one of the riskiest cars to park with a valet (along with other cheap, fast, fun cars - including but not limited to 350Z's, S2K's, RSX's, WRX's, Camaros, and Mustangs).
