question to those with dual port BOV
whats up guys im going from forge evo BOV to APS dual port adjustable. wondering whats a good setting. i have stock boost for now, only mod is full exhaust with a hallman MBC coming soon. i just dont want any stalling or idling issues. i figure if i leave it about 50/50 recirc to vent or even 70/30 recirc to vent it should be good??? to those with APS or turbosmart dual port let me know how you roll and was it a pain to adjust and figure it out.
The APS one is easy to adjust. Is isn't a standard 50/50 valve since the ports are offset. It will recirc more under lower boost and recirc less and VTA more under high boost.
We tell customers to leave it at the stock setting it is the best for 98% of people. When you start running really high boost levels you may need to tighten it down a little bit.

thanks rallysport i suppose ill leave it how it is then. im not planning on running higher boost soon, probably never. im just gonna get the hallman to make sure i peg stock boost haha. thanks again, im looking forward to the valve.
If you loosen the valve it will hold less boost and will allow more air out of the external port
If you tighten it the vale will hold more boost and will allow less air out of the external port
