getting used to evo?

I've had my evo IX for almost two months and i dont know if it's just me or the evo, but it just doesn't seem to pull as hard is it did those first 2 weeks
i was wondering, did you guys notice that the first couple of months on ur evo, and im just getting used to the power?
or is it somethin else?
i dont have any mods on it yet... except turbo timer and i got a GFB bov stealth fx for my b-day, but it's set at to recirculate like 80% so hope tahts not a problem...

If you read the owners manual, under fuel requirements it says specifically that the car is meant to drink 93 or higher octane gas but it will still run on 91 with DECREASED performance. I almost always mix in 3-4 gallons of 100 octane and for sure I feel more pull from the turbo. However, 100 octane is not readily available and quite expensive these days(expect to pay from $7-8.50 per gallon).

Still worth it occasionally or especially at the track.

Because most of us would never want to live in the People's Republik.

Your gas sucks, your housing prices REALLY suck, your smog laws suck, etc etc.
