trade
currently the market, imo, is flooded with used evos and it might be difficult for you to sell right away. if you can afford to hold the car for a few months you could make more money selling it private, but i would trade it in and be done with it .

That was a good point brought up by one of the members with the fee's dealers stick you with. Im 20 about to turn 21 in less than 2 weeks. I have pretty damn good credit and still need a cosigner, which I will choose my father. Ive manage to sell alot of stuff from my GSX and save for a long time, and managing to put down a $20,000 down payment. Ive already spoke with my insurance company and they got me down as $4300 a year with full coverage. But watch out man, dealers can really stick you with a big bill. Mine came out to $33,100 after taxes, given I got a $500 rebate due to me being "Mitsubishi Loyal" and owning a GSX. Ive negotiated with the guy for about an hour and got it from $36,XXX after taxes and everything to the price i stated. Not bad for a 20 year old! Just play it safe and get your parents involved with the situation or the dealer can get you big time!

our cars are super hot and sexy(in our eyes), but d@mn it our insurance is just so lovely! its a price to pay owning a vehicle that is high performance and always crashes due to reckless actions by the driver . good luck with your buy man! watch out for the dealership bull$h!AT that they might try to pull on you..

I was quoted $34,000 on an MR before I bought mine. I eventually bought an MR SE for 34,700. You're getting a good price.

Thats what I thought too!

knowing me, I will be racing people on the street just beucase I have an Evo, poeple will rev at me, so I wont let little civics pass me up

so I think I might be going with the Evo SE just casue the tranny is stronger and it is cheaper...so I hope all goes well.

My dad will be with me when I buy the car, and he will be negotiating more with the dealers. He is a technitian for mercedes and he doesnt take all that car crap that they try and put out, he knows the cars world...so it will be sorta simple.

If I was getting a drop on an MR that low...what should I expect to get an SE for...like 29,999?
