GM Maf Sensor

Wanted to know.. how many people here running them? What are the advantages of getting one? If I decided to get one , would I need to get the car retuned? I contacted Mike at Full Throttle and he told me that the GM sensor is better than the stock one. I have a flash and making about 500+ whp with a gt35r. Thanks in advance for inputs.

I am thinking about the same thing.... Sounds very interesting. What all is necessary for the conversion?

Im running one on my 37r setup....It will not work with the SAFCII, I found that out the hard way. Get a Translator and GM sensor and its real easy to install, you just need to learn how to adjust the knobs on the translator. Be sure to have a wideband. It runs a lot better with the GM sensor than the Stock MAF, you will tell a big difference. PM me if u have any ?'s

Look for Malibu Jack's posts on the MaftPro unit, that man has his stuff down on the MAF conversions and the advantages and the disadvantages of the blow through and pull through setups.

Also look in the sub forums of the ECU+ egine managment, i think there are a decent amount of people running maf trans. Dryad is running a flash with Dejon's maftrans kit and seems to be very happy with it. A base flash is usually the best way to go so you can scale your injectors without having to futs with it on the maftranslator
