200 Mph Evo

Just found some sweet vid of an evo vii breaking into 200mph. if you want to watch all of the other cars just watch the whole vid, but to get to the evo go to 9 minutes i think: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...+skyline&hl=en

so the evo has over 800 whp, is a cut frame so it is only 2 door, it runs 2.6 0-60 and it goes 200 plus... mmmm i want one

Wrong evo. That evo VII has just over 600 awhp and has four doors. Their green/black evo IX has the 2 doors.

wow. how the hell to they shift so fast in that evo?? its not automatic. so what stuff do they use to do that. it sounds like an automatic. lol. so does that last skyline r33. damn. nice vid

Thats a dog box for you, no synchro's.

Its hard for me to tell if he's using a sequential shifter or not like in WRC

I think white evo has got a dog box tranny.Dog boxes do not have syncro rings meaning you need to double clutch and rev match to engage the gear. Because there is no syncro the gear can be wider and thus stronger. A main complaint is the noise from these gears - very loud.
