Weird Question: Power Windows still work when car is shut off sometimes

I noticed the other day that with the car shut off and the key out of the ignition that I could still operate the power windows for a little while. It does it only once in awhile and never for more than like 15 seconds and I don't have any problem with the battery so i wonder if it's just a quirk or some kind of feature built into the car.

It works until you open a door. Totally normal.

there's a time out. like 45 seconds or until a door is opened. hate it when your passenger gets too eager and stop ur window roll up right after you turn car off.

True...Then you have to put the key back in.....

It's normal for every car to do that
