It's like having a smoking hot lady and never being able to see her in a swimsuit. Do you hide away your Evo from the snow?
I garage mine mid-Nov through March. The reason, because salt and winters totally destroy cars in western PA. Everyone I've ever had. To me $30k is a lot of money for a car and I want to keep this one nice. Plus I have a 4x4 woods beater so why not use it as a DD in the winter? It also cuts my insurance in half so I win here from all angles!

I kept my baby nice and warm.... and yes free from nasty salt.
I've seen how brand new car turn to rusty old car in 2 yrs so I have two winter beaters while the EVO sleep.

^Yes and my engine bay still looks like it came off the showroom floor (well if mine wouldve came off the show room floor that is). It is the salt alone that makes me garage it. That and the cinders they throw down here. Mitsu paint mixed with wintery mix of cinders and salt at 65+mph on the highway = freshly painted front end every 2 years.....no thanks.

Yeah, there only needs to be a dusting of snow to do that. It's great to put on a show for the kids going to school!

The Evo is WAY WAY beyond "works fine in the snow".

Okay, add to my list "unless you have 5 inch wide rims" also.

I garaged mine for the winter. I want to keep it looking as good as I can and salt free.

You know, having just pulled it out from winter storage I've realized I appreciate it that much more. The car is like a new car come every spring. Still smells new, acts new, and is new to me. Plus, the power difference always is a nice surprise coming from my winter beater/daily driver Subie wagon.
