hey i jus bought this stewart warner shift light/digital tach...where exactly should i connect the signal to?? the tach connector under the hood by the battery?? heres what it looks like http://www.sw-performance.com/index....tails&p=114930

 

There is a wire going to the cluster you can tap for sure. Look for a schematic or I bet someone on here can tell you. But I don't know it, sorry.

EDIT: Found that pin 58 on the ecu is the tach signal, could do it there.

pin 58 folks?? i know some of you have shift lights/tachs where did you tap into??

 

pull the ecu its real easy..get a schematic of pins on the tach..i dont have one on my evo but i did it on my old 300 z tt....its simple as **** and you realize how easy it is when u find out what to tap it to...its cake

 

I have the same Shift light i tapped into 10

 

and had my ppr set to 1 I belive

 

where did you get that shift light from? -
