The servive book you get in the UK with JDM model states 6 year anti-corrosion warranty. Don't know about the USDM service book, does it say anything in there?

I've had the boot lid replaced, and the rear spoiler but to the clear coat peeling off and going a sort of white colour.

i asked dealer about fixing rust and they said they will not fix it if its not rusted through

Paint on the 03 Evo sucks. Its thin, brittle, and just plain crappy. I've been slowly touching mine up one area at a time with factory matching paint from www.paintscratch.com and ppg.

NO need for a new trunk they are just gonna grind it down til no more rust then prime it and paint i would just get it fixed at a local body shop it would be less then court

no because that means they win again. im not letting this one go. i took me for the clear on the wing and the breaks, i will not let them get me for this. the warrenty is there for a reason, they need to realize that.
