5,400rpm first and only time I tried it, my clutch surrendered like it was French.

If you got a stocker dnt go past 5500.. unless you got that foot play down packed.. if you got aftermarket clutch or big turbo you can def go higher.. especially for the big T duh..

lets say you got the ACT HD with that Gruppe-s Fly.. go with 5800-6100.. now depending on the big turbo is a matter of playing with it and your choice of how much boost you want to build.. most of the time just have a tuner do it if you had them install the turbo, they know what is a good set point for certain type of turbos.

And for the last time.. dnt set it below 5k.. i've seen a dude set his at 2500 thinking it was his tpe-s again.. he took off bogged.. but i dnt know what really happened as he mashed it WOT.. kept going.. went about 15ft and he stopped.. clucth was TOAST..

So warning play at chur own risk down there..

Had mine at 5800, resulted in wheel spin. Had it lowered to 5000.

Don't set it below 5k? Like I said, mine is at 4500 and I don't bog at all. On a stock clutch I think it works perfect. Never burnt up my clutch doing it. If you set it under 4000 then maybe you are a little slow. I don't think you would build any boost at all. You might as well not have launch control at that point.

Mine is stock at 5k. I build 12 lbs of boost, with a fast slip the car launches like a rocket. But i think i might have it raised to 5800 anyway. A little more boost maybe, but a quicker 60ft. for sure.

I started at 4000 and bumped up the rpm in 200 rpm increments until it quit bogging. 5000 is where it started leaving half assed. I set it to 5200 and hope that does the trick.

I feel the same way. I am so used to launching FWD and not worry too much because the tires would spin and compensate for any serious wear and tear, but with 4wd, 6000rpm is scary. mine is set at 6000 after my reflash and I am yet to launch it.....it was even scary at 5000k Launching lower than 4500 will require too much slipping to not bog = dead clutch before you can say "what's that smell?"

Just keep it where it is and launch from there. You can slip the clutch out rather quickly to spin the tires some, thus lowering chances of drivetrain damage.
