I had some really strange problems in my truck and it turned out to be a bad ground making everything go nuts. It screwed up almost every system in the truck. Another one that I had really stranges problems with like yours turned out to be a faulty ignition switch. Yet another really strange one was a chafed wiring harness.

I think those are the three most likely places to look that I can think of.

1) immobilizer, 2) ignition switch going bad (the plug assem. behind ign. cylinder), 3) ECU was attacked by the "under pants gnomes" from south park, and time for a stand alone. Yes, 3 is a little far fetched, however, your car sounds like it days away from greeting you in the morning with breakfast in bed!

Thanks for the input. They looked at the ignition switch but that's fine. They said they looked though all the wiring diagrams and all the wires seem to be fine. That immobilizer is making me wonder.

1. I'm going to have them disconnect it and see what happens.
2. Allready checked, it's good.
3. ECU allready checked, it's good.

I'll update you guys tomorrow when we disconnect the immobilizer to see what happens.

Did you but this car used? The first thing that I thought of was , is this car from Katrina? A flooded out car would do some really weird electrical things. I am just thinking out loud, I hope that I am wrong.

The first thing you should do is take all the mods off. Then park your car somewhere and have a "friend" burn that possessed car to the ground. Collect the insurance and gap (hopefully you have that) and go get yourself a ix.
