These pics are me just ripping out uneeded corroded wires which caused the windshield wiper issue.

I am supposed to be missing a fuse on the left side of #15?

So can anyone show me a wiring diagram of the immobilizer so I can disconnect it.
I also saw an option on ECUFlash for immobilizer which was set at 28, could I change those settings to disable it?

Why did you go through all that trouble to turn off the engine when you could have just bogged the car and stalled it?

Seriously though, why don't you try some contact cleaner up in the corroded areas.

Dunno about cars but it almost always does the trick on aircraft.

1. It's not good for the car
2. The dashlights still come on after you bog it and it's drains your battery till it's dead.

The immobilizer is not the problem,i was having the same exact problem as you. i literally just hard wired the wires, like a member said to do, and there are no longer any problems....wipers work and the car shuts down. i still have to seal the gromit though. if the car is running without the key in it, pull fuse #13 in the engine bay...its for the hazards. the car might shut off, atleast that is how ive been dealing with the problem until now Oh yea if you need a wiring diagram go tohttp://www.NE-EVOS.net you will find one on there. Good luck

What wires did you hard wire? Do you know the exact cause of the car not turning off?

i hard wired all of the wires on the large harness, like 20 wires. the first one i did fixed the wipers, light green wire on the bottom of the large harness, last row. i also did the two wire on the harness right below, in the black harness green in color also if i remember correctly. im not sure which corrected the shut down problem

if you clean the terminals really well and put some dioelectric grease in the prongs it shold help correct the problem for now, but the next time it rains the corrusion is back

i have crazy windows as well. My drivers window will go down on it's own (seriously). If i put it up, half way through it would go down on it's own! Funny thing is it only happened twice and both of those times it was raining!

All other windows are fine. go figure
