Shift Knob Cover? (For those with metal shift knobs)

On a more serious note, I liked the idea of a golf club cover, maybe one made for a kid's set, black, and embroidered with "MR" on top? That would look pretty sweet, no? Maybe I am putting too much thought and effort into it?

shift knob cover
Instead of baby socks, I use baby mittens from walmart. The socks are angled and will bunch up on the bottom. The mittens are straight with no angle so they fit perfectly. I choose the ones with the grippy things on them, so they hold onto the shift knob.
If someone could make one out of neoprene or wetsuit material, I think that would work even better.
