The Greddy is a nice looking unit (I love the blue backlit screen that goes red and the overall compact design). *But* it is a very basic unit - only open loop control if I'm not mistaken. I got similar spikes on my WRX till I ditched it and got a used Apex'i AVC-R. Never looked back since. The AVCR is closed loop, and it learns on the go. The aftermarket solenoid that comes with it also seems faster.

More $$$ but def. worth it.

Ok. Theres your problem. If you just turn the knob. Do not press it in, just turn it. That will do just your boost.

What you need to try from here is to turn the start gain (press the knob in twice) to zero. Then turn the boost (just turn the knob, dont press it in) a little bit and do some runs. If your still spiking turn it down more. You need to get your gain % and set gain to work together. Then adjust your start gain. While your adjusting it you may be a little bit laggier than what your used to do to the start gain being zero, but adjust that last.

I had the same problem trying to learn my MBC. The manual makes it difficult to figure out .
