Buschur Racing's new black car drag set up
From Page 2,
The lower i/c connector, there is a v band with an o-ring sealing to the turbo and then a very short coupling to the radiator.
Moving the fuel cell to the front was done for, loss of weight and better fuel delivery to the engine.
I don't believe that building a header equal length for a turbo charged car is very important, that's just my opinion. With that said, yes, when I built this one I did attempt to make it equal length. The runners are within 1.5" of each other in length, which was close enough for me.

On the weight of the car, we have not weighed it yet this year after all the changes we've made. We were the lightest last year but I can assure you that is no longer the case. I probably will not invest anymore money in making the car lighter than it is now. I just can't see an aluminum/carbon fiber roof and some of the other areas where there is weight left I feel it is important to keep it there for the structural integrity of the car. I'd guess with driver our car is around 2700 pounds even now, give or take a little. My brother is around 210 pounds.
Hopefully we can get back out to the track this week and get an idea of how it is going to run.
