Yes, we have front and rear hoops on the black car actually.

We have one front driveshaft loop here.

David - the car looks great!! Great work!

Good luck at the shootout and beating your previous records.

Is that going to be a production exhaust?
I think the Norwalk cops would love it.

David and the buschur crew,

That looks fantastic and I especially love the fact that you did a little mini front halfing on the car.

A little question, I notice that you have your Wideband sensor almost immediately after the opening of the turbine housing. I understand that your downpipe can't be anymore than 2.5 feet in total length and you probably don't want any free air cavitating back to disrupt what the sensor reads. But do you think that the sensor will get too hot being that close to the exit ?
The only reason I ask is because on my drag car, I am running into a problem with the sensor not reading because of how close it is to the exit of the turbine housing (12 inches). Just curious

keep up the great work .

Most sensors won't work if they're too close to free air at idle. I have a super short downpipe too and I have to just go by feel when tuning the idle AFR. One thing you can do is temp on a clamped pipe to effectively make the exhaust longer for a temporary reading.

The sensor will work just fine being that close to the housing in terms of reading correctly. It is going to die prematurely but $60 twice a season isn't usually a big deal on a car like Buschur's drag car.

The 02 sensor in the old exhaust worked pretty good, even at idle. This new exhaust is less than half the length of the old. I actually expect it to still work at idle because of where it is placed in the bend. We started the car but I didn't hook up the laptop to it yet. At WOT it will work fine, sensors don't last much time at all running VP Import anyway.

We put the drivers side window in it today. So the car is completely finished and ready for the track. Weather permitting we are going to Norwalk tomorrow night and see how it does. IF we have the "shutting off" fixed then I would expect to see us atleast better our own previous time. That would make me happy enough...for now.

I am looking forward to changing my signature again someday.

Good Luck David! Will you be up there for the track rental by yourself or are others running also? I may have a car that we need to get miles on, and could bring it up.
