Evo "sluggish" when first taking off?

It could also be the CDV and the fact that the Evo clutch engages alot higher than the S2's clutch therefore causing the bog at take off....

thats normal get used to it, remmber rpms are your friend on turbo 4 cyl.

mine does the same thing
the car is just super gut less under 1500 rpm
i normally take off at idle and the car has no power what so ever untill like 1500-2k rpm

thats when happens when you have awd, a heaver *** car, and a tiny engine which makes no power or tq from idle -2k rpm
