you'll just have to return things to stock if you want to pass emissions

Probably have to swap out the test pipe if they do the sniff test and most likely have to swap out your EMS back to your stock ecu because they have to plug a computer in to your OBDII.

Dos Illinois require an obd check as part of it's emissions testing. AEM sandalone will not pass obd.

Bribe the tester to get you a sticker or become friends with an emission tester.

Get a Spark plug Non-Fouler. It's a $5 fix that tricks your second O2 Sensor into thinking that your Catalytic Converter is working properly.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...rk+plug+fouler

Your car will pass the emmisions test as long as your Check Engine light is not on. The only problem that you could face; is if the shop performs a visual inspection. If your concerned about that, you can weld the stock Catalytic Converters shell on top of your test pipe.

In Illinois cars 96 and newer dont get sniff tested. All they do is plug into the obd connector and read out fault codes. If no codes stored you pass. They dont even check for a catalitic converter. I would put one on just in case they do check but thats up to you.
