Car acting weird....First signs of Clutch???
I just did the ETS FMIC and upper and lower pipes. Shortly after I have noticed that if I am cruising along in any gear and then stomp on it, the boost builds and the car accelerates until it hits about 10psi and then it feels like the clutch slips and then grabs again once it hits 21psi.
Although when I did a launch to see how bad it was slipping it seemed as if it didnt slip at all, all the way thru the gears to 100. I also tried to start in 5th and the car just died. So it is baffling me as to whether this is the clutch or not.
I didnt get a reflash after the IC install, But I wouldnt think that to be the issue the way it is behaving.
I just wanted to get some opinions before I started on the clutch.
Thanks in adv.
BTW. Clutch is stock with about 30000miles on it.

def sounds like the clutch,
Mine did the same around 21,000 miles then didnt do it again until about 23,000, finally blowing out around 25,000.
My discription was, around 3k rpm it would slip until 5k rpm then grab again.

sounds like an intercooler pipe not on all the way. check connections, you may have a boost leaks causing the MAF to read high knock count and then give the timing back-10psi then back to 21psi.....

But if it is the clutch just strange that it grabs at full boost rather than slip until you get out of the gas.
And now it is tending to do it a little earlier, around 5psi
