You have to remove the whole piece to perform an oil change? I read the whole thread and no one asked.

I made one with an access and when we did a bit of off-track exploration the front edge caught(splitter undertray combo)bowed the tray and cut the oil filter off the car (and destroid a 10K race motor in the process....) having the pan cover it is cheap insurance imo...and practice

The rear tray for the EVO8. I am going to make it when I order the next batch of material, I need to get material to use for the template and will order that with the next batch.

Trent's car, surprisingly has about the same clearance as my car.

Yes, the tray has to be removed to change the oil. Remember, this is designed to come on and off EASILY, not like stock.

Robi, I will get right on these for you. I'll shoot you an email first.

Good point on the "off track" experience with the car. Lord knows you have some experience in that Robi! hahah (just busting your *****) The tray, does fully extend over the oil filter, which I never thought about before, but that is some damn good protection. The tray is 1/8" thick.

Keep us posted on when an Evo 9 version is ready to go since my mangled stock one isnt doing me much aerodynamic good and taking it off to work on the car makes me want to hurt people.

I will definitely be interested in purchasing one of these once you get i figured out for the evo 9 front bumper. The only thing is i have the SE lip. Do you think your Evo 8 designed to fit with the do luck style lip would fit on an Evo 9 with the SE lip? Like i said i am very interested in purchasing one of these for aero work but also for all that road dirt crap that gets up in my engine bay since i don't the stock under-tray on anymore.
