Aero work, undertrays and misc looking for opinions
robevoRS, no, what I am saying is that the rear undertray for the JDM EVO9 rear is going to only be built in one piece like I have it pictured. For anyone who has a different muffler you may have to cut it to fit around the muffler.
I will definitely be interested in purchasing one of these once you get i figured out for the evo 9 front bumper. The only thing is i have the SE lip. Do you think your Evo 8 designed to fit with the do luck style lip would fit on an Evo 9 with the SE lip? Like i said i am very interested in purchasing one of these for aero work but also for all that road dirt crap that gets up in my engine bay since i don't the stock under-tray on anymore.
any chance on adding vertical fins to stabilize the airflow on the rear diffuser, similar to some other diffusers on the market?
i know it wont look pretty on the street if your trying to keep a subtle look, but they are functional & do work. i wouldnt be suprised to see some people buy them just for the look (ala JDM 9 bumper)
if not, no worries i can always add some on my own

The vertical fins I found out are called Strakes, thanks for that information Jim.
I am thinking of adding the strakes to the rear diffuser. I just have to get some of these built and sold before I build more styles and options.

Like I said above badstainless, I need to sell some of the ones we have designed already before I put even more work into future parts like this. The NACA ducts for the brake ducts are not a hard project. Order a tray and we can add in the pricing for the brake ducts and put them in. I'll just need to know what size hoses you want to run to the brakes so I can install NACA ducts that you will be the right size.
For those of you waiting. There was a delay with our order for material. I spoke to the supplier and I should have material tomorrow. I will be shipping the first orders out, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks for the patience.

Kinda interested. I like the idea of a DIY kit because that would keep the cost down. I also think that if I got a DIY kit I'd probably be making an access hole plate for my oil changes.
I'd like to also see a Vishnu-esk DIY kit for the rear end as well, though I don't know if I would be as interested.
Main reason I am interested in the front, is my car was a hack-job by former RNR owner Ryan Fellows. I have put so much money into the car that a undertray was somewhat of an afterthought, and therefore never purchased. So this would be nice to get before the winter (which is fast approaching). Maybe one of these days I'll get around to posting my "Evo Restoration" story.

robevors, for what it's worth, your panel looks a hell of a lot better thant he Beatrush panel.
The aero I am working on, in this case, works for both drag and road racing actually. We are working on flattening out the bottom of the car which benefits both.
