Let's see

1.) Did a tranny rebuild already with only 70k on it. And I've never tracked it. Just a daily driver. Replaced the clutch a second time then too.

2.) My car was possessed at one point. Windshield wipers would turn on randomly, even when there was no rain. You should've seen the looks I would get sometimes. Fixed after hard-wiring the C-124 as described here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=252161

3.) Turbo timer currently just shuts off early by itself sometimes. Currently searching the forums for a resolution.

4.) Knicks on the hood.

5.) A bit of peeling on the carbon fiber spoiler.

6.) Scratches on the roof.

7.) First gear still whines a bit even after rebuild.

8.) I'm sure there's more not coming to mind atm

I'm starting to wear down the driver's side door panel from where my elbow rests.

Not the lower fabric, but the topside. It looks like someone melted it with a lighter.


Aside from the usual cosmetics, I have 73k miles, stock clutch, stock plugs, never needed a tranny rebuild, etc.

Been lucky so far.

 

1. Downpipe rattles on the croossbar (once in a blue),
2. ridiculous amount of mods but stock ecu,
3. driver front axle boot has a tear,
4. stinking HID headlights are at the highest point and still dont see well.
5. couple chips on the oem front bumper(but its only on during winter anyway).
6. some curbage on a rim but i got it like that.
7. chip on the hood

im surprised i havent read of any brembos or wings peeling. those are usually the most common.

 

1. Service engine light for secondary O2 sensor, waiting on tactrix cable
2. SRS light because my SRS recorder is unplugged and I can find a picture of which plug goes where to plug them back in correctly and I am afraid to plug them in incorrectly.
3. Low ACD fluid indicator intermittantly because one of the hoses leak, and I have been waiting for a replacement from Mitsubishi since Dec 28th.
4. Running just wastegate pressure waiting an a boost controller that UPS lost.
5. Mysterious squeaky sound coming from front left suspension only under braking.
6. Cluster backlight does not match a/c controls backlight

ditch the mbc and bought apexi avcr ebc
bought a anti surge cover

Brand new condition. 2k miles on it. Garage kept. Ran once every 2 weeks by my mom. Because its in NC and I am stationed in Japan for 2 years.

 

I have the exact same problem!! I also have some scratches in the plastic door handle where I would try to grab my phone sitting there and miss.

 

Cigerrete lighter will not light unless I hold the damn thing down and the ring around it does not illuminate. I suspect boost leak and my passenger side strut is going out. Other than that ther car is tip top.

 

+1, fading brembos, small rust on trunk lid under wing, did I mention it was stock?

 

Faded rear view mirrors (RR), everday nicks ( but seem to find more every wash), Pinch welds bent of course, I'm sure there is more but i don't want to get myself too depressed!

 

I just had my trunk repainted because of that! i also had my brembos stripped and repainted (will post pics soon)

 

dome lamp inop, red brake light does not come on with e-brake ( found that out after driving 5 miles with the e-brake about 2 clicks up. thought it was down, stopped for gas and thought i burned the clutch. LOL. brakes were a bit warm.), clunk in reverse every now and then, lighter element is toast, slightly scratched rims courtesty of previous owner and a name brand tire company, floormats worn, 2 or 3 small cigarette burns in carpet, LOL, some slight signs of brembo and wing peel ( not major yet), rear brakes went @23k, front are up next @34k, tires went @ 20k, rear view mirror shakes loose after a while and falls off LOL, hella swirls in the paint, birds love to $hit on electric blue, and i'm bone stock. other than that, i friggin love my evo!
