Shift Knob
If you have a short shifter it is almost a must to have a HEAVY shift knob. It helps the shifts be alot less notchy. I have the Authority shifter and knob that came with it. I would like to try the Razo 340 gram knob, as it is probably heavier than my Authority.
Weighted shift knobs are simply the poor man's synchro rebuild kit.
Lightweight shift knobs are what you want, like the old Dent Sport Garage shift knob made out of derlin. However, the stock shift knob is perfectly fine. If it wasn't, you'd see all the T2 and drag Evos with newest ARC titanium / carbon fiber / kevlar / counterweighted / meth powered shift knob.

I use the Ralliart shift knob which is taller than the factory knob and provides more leverage. I find it easier to shift with it and it's not going to burn your hand in summer and be really cold during winter.
