Had an 04 WRX and wanted to trade for an 06 STI. South Coast Mitsu was selling 06 MR's for way cheaper than the STI. So all I was asking was sell me an STI for the same price as South Coast was selling the MR's and it would be a done deal. Not a single dealer would bite, not even the dealer where I bought my WRX would do it. And the 07 models were already out. So I went with a GSR and haven't regret it a bit. And the funny thing was a week or so after I got my EVO, the Subie Dealers started calling me wanting to work something out. Funny.

All the things everyone mentioned is nice, but the Evo has a rear window wiper.

On Need For Speed Underground 2, you get the Evo later than the STi, so it HAS to be better, right?

Easier to work on.

Cost to mod

Performance

And i like the looks better.

I too liked the STI very much, but just was more attracted to the EVO...

I had a STI. I put over 10K in power mods. It did not even have 450whp with a FP Red. Plus, the EVO is alot easier to work on too. You just don't put cams in a STI. You have to pull the STIs f*cking engine. And how many stock turbo STIs do you see making 11second passes?

OMG how could he messed up that LOL

Nice comparison Pegasus That's the way I also think how the evo and the STI compare to each other.

Edit: You forgot how each other look outside. The evo looks like it means business, while the STI wants to look good for the ladies I presume?
The STI has a better paint job though but still I like the colors on the evos cuz it has more variety than Subaru. When I look at a WRX I'm constantly thinking on how Subaru came up with the colors for the car: "Hmmmm well I just want it black and blue...not to much blue....and red plus could you paint it so it is just shiny all of the time...Super".

Funny...One day I discovered the search button and most of the threads I was thinking about starting have already been done, along with answers to many of my questions.

It was hard decision...

I guess I just wanted to go fastER without spending alot of money...

BUT If I waited until I heard results from the 2007 STi's...Then it would have been a much harder decision.

I picked the EVO because I seen what it could do when I was stationed in Japan. Racing and beating Skylines.......first car that ever caught my eye was the Silvia though.....and the funny thing was that ended up being my first car too. JDM baby!!!
