A) EVO is easy to mod
B) EVO handles better
C) EVO looks better
D) More POWWAA
and finally the most important reason
E) STi's are way too common. Like civics. They are everywhere.

+1... to everything, even some wrx's make me jealous when they drive by. Maybe my dad will put an exhaust on his forester xt sports and I can get my fix

you mean to tell me you actually like the boxer sound? It sounds horrible to me like its running on 3 cylinders? I also don't like harleys for the very same reason...

I drove a wrx back when it first came out and thought it was ok and had decent pull. Fast forward to 2004 and a buddy of mine bought the RS evo ...he installed a turboback, afc, boost-controller and BC cams and he let me drive it when he was too hammered to drive...it was love at first gear. I had liked the evo's before but this just put the icing on the cake after driving around a 91 GVR-4 with the stock turbo for 2 years. It was like night and day.

I actually drove an STI before the Evo, and liked it a lot. What I didn't like was the offer for my 02 S2000. So I went to Mitsu and drove a red evo but really wanted a white, so I waited and a week later a white one was out front. I bought it. I havent had any issues with the drivetrain and I have beat on it many times. I am still on the stock clutch at 34K.

I've never driven an STi, but I've driven plenty of WRX's. I really like the sound and interior of the WRX/STi, but I didn't like the looks of the newer US STi's. I liked the older "bugeye" ones. And the older WRX's just aren't fast enough.

The Evo is much more aggressive, and since I've always driven Mitsubishi since I was 16, I've always had a thing for the Evo VI TME. I've been wanting to make my coupe into a TME coupe

One day I was bored and had some money saved up and said "I want an Evo" so I went and bought one, haha.
