Most of the time I shift around 4-5k, but if I had to guess I'd say I redline about 5 times a week. If I didn't want to utalize its potential I would have bought a civic. I drove very fast in my 91 jeep wrangler, so having something that handles and accelerates the way the evo does is wonderful.

I do alot of datalogging / experimental tuning / and I guess it gets beat on frequently. What's interesting is power is certainly not down because of it.

Almost never maybe once a month but it is short spirited and quickly over. No need for any tickets and get nailed with doing stuff like that on public roads. My insurance is high enough as it already is.

every chance I get. It's a daily driver, and I get at least 4-5 WOT runs on the way to work, and then again on the way home. Weekends aren't much different.

I need a constant reminder that everything is working as expected.

I couldn't have stated it better myself. Although I drive slower TO work, and much faster FROM work

i dont beat on it. Once shes warm i have fun everytime i drive it. Its an EVO, its made for it. Let her warm up, shift and drive properly. Regular service checks, etc.

It wil be fine, its made for it.

I beat on it daily when on the freeway or when some punk civic or neon revs at the light.
