I'm curious how often everyone drives their car hard... by hard, I mean:

* Any type of racing or dyno
* Redlining / Datalogging

 

I pretty much try to redline it every trip I take; just have to make sure it's fully warmed up. My motto is, "redline once a day keeps the oil sludge away"

I never beat on mine. Of course it is stock though....

 

occasionally i beat on it on the street usually on the highway or take it to the drag strip once a month or so. i figure you gotta pay to play.

 

Almost everyday I am going through the gears/redline.

I think the Evo can be driven pretty fast, without actually abusing it.

The most common sort of abuse probably comes from launching and poor driving.

 

I beat on mine every time a punk in a BMW, boosted RSX, Porsche or G35 wants to race, lol.
