fuse dont work
hey i just got a new fuse for it but it dont work. i still have the same problem. when i start the car all i hear is the fan turn on. do you guys know what it could be?? is there another fuse or do you think i need a new starter??
You will most likely need a new starter. Alot of the time when starters go out it is due to the brushes inside the motor moving around. You can tap the motor with a hammer (lightly) and see if it starts. This works like 80% of the time. You can also check for 12v start signal by disconnecting the one-wire connector on the pull-out winding on the starter and use a test light or ohmmeter while someone holds the key on start. If you have got power, then you need an new starter or you can get yours rebuilt for 1/5 of the price of a new one. Good Luck
