Need to remove undertray to change fluids?

It's been a while since I've been under my car and never actually looked for the fill/drain plugs for the trans and transfer case. I'm getting ready to change the fluids tomorrow and didn't notice whether it specified in the write-up and don't want any surprises. Also if anyone has pics of the rear dif fill/drain plugs I couldn't find any of those either. I will continue my hunt though through the threads. And yes I know at 12k miles some would consider me way overdue for a change

i havnt had my undertray on in forever but if i remember correctly you do have to remove it.

and the drain plugs on the xfercase, tranny and rear diff are all 24mm.... cant miss the fill plug on the tranny..it says oil on it... the one on the transfer case is a little above the downpipe (dont need to remove the downpipe) and the one on the rear end you cant miss either.

DIAQUEEN ONLY in the rear and transfer case.......

i run penzoil syncromesh in the tranny and it shifts really smooth...

From Experience it is good practice to ensure you can remove the filler plug before draining the fluid.

I went with redline as was recommended in the write-up. If I don't like it, the car will get Diaqueen next time

It is ABSOLUTELY NOT a necessity to remove the undertray to change the fluids. I have changed all my fluids many times and have never had to remove the undertray to gain access to the drain or fill plugs.

There are write ups on this site and on evomoto on how to change all your fluids. I suggest you do some reading prior to turning any wrenches.

If you'll notice I said I read the articles already. I was just seeing if it was a necessary step. I did not think so but, sometimes something easy like that is ignored when people make a write-up. I'm not a complete noob to turning a wrench, like I said just don't want any surprises with stupid little ****. Edit: I did fail to thank you for letting me know it's not necessary. It's the answer I was looking for
