^i understand the transmission thing (except there's always fixes for that.) give an evo 10+ years and it'll be just as sought after as the supras, 300zxs, rx-7s, etc. etc. are now.
but yeah, at the end of the day it just comes down to what makes YOU happy. if you do decide to get a supra you may wanna do yourself a favor and get a beater for the winter first if it'll be your daily driver... that and post pics here asap! good luck.

Not knocking anyone, and I am very glad everyone has been ok so far. The Evo responds vastly different in slip and slide conditions based on many variables. It's easy to drive until it is on the edge of traction or without traction.
Honestly, if not for having track experience in the rain and cold weather, I'd have had one of these threads myself by now. I also have my winter tires on already.
This just sounds like one of those fluke deals, but great driving. Understood the decision, thought it out, protected others on the road. Very responsible, and not something we "read" often on these boards.
